Below are classes being offered throughout the summer at the Sustainable Living Center in Central Park

Composting: Recycle that Nutrients! Have you ever wondered why compost is so cool? Join us on a journey of discovery as we take on the life cycle of nutrients. We’ll learn about the movement of nutrients from soil, to plants, to compost, and back into soil. You’ll also learn how you can start your own compost! 6/27 | 10-11AM

Vermicomposting: Worms, worms, worms!

An amazing form of composting is called vermicomposting. These little helpers turn food scraps into incredibly nutritious compost. During this class, we’ll learn about the life cycle of worms, how they do what they do, and how you can start your own vermicompost!

Zero Waste Living: You can, too!The zero-waste lifestyle trend took over social media a few years back, inspiring many people to take on the challenge. Zero doesn’t mean no waste, it means low waste.
