Trainees receive 60 hours of classroom instruction in gardening and related subjects, taught by Extension Educators and other experts. They then volunteer their time in a wide variety of ways in their community. This can include assisting others with gardening advice, writing and public speaking, leading and participating in community gardening projects, and much more. Masters Gardeners have many opportunities to share their knowledge, gain new skills and have fun with a wonderful group of like-minded people from diverse backgrounds. Our next training class will be held from Mid August to December, 2021.
