This class will cover the basics of how to start your own vegetable garden, including mapping it out, understanding your soils and fertilizer options and choosing what to plant. Bring measurements of your intended garden space and a sample of soil (1 cup of dry soil).
You will move to the greenhouse to start your seeds. Seeds, soil and trays are provided. Your seedlings will be cared for by CCE staff and volunteers for six weeks. They will be ready for transplant when you pick them up on May 20.

$40 per person, with the option to add an extra tray of 50 plants for $10.
